South Africa’s influencer culture is growing bigger every day with some of the country’s top talent demanding up to R500, 000 for sponsored posts on Instagram. HopperHQ.com released its Instagram Rich List and revealed exactly how much celebrities and influencers make.
Kylie Jenner, who has 141-million followers, earns a jaw-dropping $1,2 million (over R18-million) per sponsored post.
Beauty influencer Huda Beauty requests $91,300 (R1,3 million) for an ad, model Bella Hadid demands $86,300 (around R1,2 million) and soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo earns $975,000 (over R13 million). Beauty vlogger Mihlali Ndamase and supermodel Candice Swanepoel were the only local stars to make the list.
Mihlali came in 17th in the beauty category. She charges around R25 000 for a sponsored post.
