Visually Impaired Actress Kamogelo Maree Joins ‘Scandal!’

Talented actress Kamogelo Maree has landed an exciting role in the popular e.tv soapie, Scandal!. She made her debut on Wednesday, August 7, portraying Thoriso More, the sister of Taps (played by Moses Mabuza).

Scandal! introduced Maree’s character as a strong, determined woman who doesn’t let her blindness hold her back.

The show’s creators describe Thoriso as “a remarkable individual with a unique perspective on the world.”

Kamogelo Maree will be joining an impressive cast, including legendary actor Seputla Sebogodi, who plays her father, Kgopolo More.

Her mother is portrayed by Keitu Kasonkola, known for her role in Champions, while her brother, Tiro More, is played by former The Queen actor Lebohang Msiza.

The More family has been introduced following the departure of the Langa family, the Mambas, and the Khubekas, adding a fresh dynamic to the soapie.

In another exciting update for fans, Scandal! announced that the show now airs seven days a week, giving viewers even more content to enjoy.

With 3.2 million viewers, Scandal! continues to be a hit on e.tv, holding the third spot in the ratings according to June figures from the Broadcasting Research Council of South Africa (BRCSA).
